Confidence is not just for extroverts with Berta Sanchez Velar

Berta is an Architect and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. She moved from her home country, Spain, to Missouri (USA) to pursue her university studies in Architecture and Art History. After working in Kansas for a year she returned to Europe. Wanting to continue practicing architecture in English she moved to London where she has delivered high end residential, school and government projects.

In 2017 she changed her focus to Project Management and joined Mace where she is now an Associate Director leading a team delivering international projects. Her passion for the built environment, learning and options of roles and projects makes her evolution an exciting adventure of self-discovery and challenge.

She is also an introvert who is clear on what that means for confidence.
